notes:
next time use tpa bitter nut extra - maybe the missing link in bebeca. i don't know what's going one but the last batches i've got of bitter nut extra are even more further away from m-type. probably "tabanone" was not added and thus the major difference. anyways, what's left is just the bitter nut - but not that much (straight out of the bottle) to be honest. which led me to question if this would work on this recipe. this recipe is by far the closest to original halo tribeca i've made and tested. so, in my quest for the holy grail for a bebeca recipe, i might have found the missing link. truth is, there's some nuts on bebeca, but i can't figure out which one. and sweetener, a good amount of it that's for sure.
in addition, although i like the several iterations of the tribeca clones available out there, they all make the same mistake: too high percentages on graham crackers and acetyl pyrazine. also, perhaps the misuse of ry4 double or maybe the original uses a flavour closer to ry4 not double. also, the high percentage of ethyl maltol is a mistake in my opinion. i'm inclined to say that original halo tribeca and atmos bebeca use more sucralose than maltol - or maybe a combo of the two.

i'm getting a burnt taste. check coil and cotton. different rtas, same burnt taste. next batch, take out cotton candy, leave sweetener. maybe add ciclo tbk. brown sugar + acetyl are just adding on the ry4 double so not sure the purpose here, at least at these percentages. increase graham cracker will make this recipe on the cake/desert side. maybe add walnut. or bitter nut extra at very very low percentage, say 0.1 or 0.2 %.

in order to be a good clone of bebeca, it needs to be less harsh and the sweetness mustn't taste like burnt. but how? use ry4 instead of double? increase sweetener or ethyl maltol? add smooth? or caramagic?
next time:
test 1 - remove cotton candy. add caramagic. keep sweetener and everything else.
test 2 - remove brown sugar (burnt sugar taste perhaps), leave everything else.
test 3 - replace ry4 double with ry4. leave everything else.
test 4 - add ciclo tbk.
test 5 - add brow sugar again.
ckeck results, pick best version.

the nut test:
test 5 - add walnut. check for sweetness, maybe some adjustments at this point.

tobacco test: add another tobacco flavour. maybe creating a different profile just for fun.
test 6 - on top of everything else, add bitter nut extra at 0.1-0.2%.
has its improved or is it just a different profile?
